I’m just going to warn you..there’s a lot of grossness and creepiness in this post.
I warned you.
For Reals.
Friday I finally had my MRI for my neck problems. I went to ProScan imaging. It was my first time having an MRI so I was a bit nervous.
I wasn’t as nervous for being claustrophobic as I was for the fact I had about 50 fresh & itchy mosquito bites on my body from doing yardwork on Wednesday evening.
I’m one of those people you want to invite to your barbeque because I’m a mosquito magnet. I don’t get why mosquitos like me more than others. grrrrrrrrrrrr.
I was up all night itching the night before so I was scared it was going to be an itchy nightmare when I slid into this huge machine.
DON’T MOVE. DON’T MOVE. You’re not supposed to move inside an MRI at all, so I had to dig into my mental toughness to stay still and ignore my stupid bug bites. There’s no way I’m paying $600 more bucks or however much an MRI is to get it redone, so I toughed it out and didn’t itch once 🙂 BOOM!
The MRI wasn’t bad. I thought I’d be claustrophic inside that tunnel but my nurse put a towel over my eyes and blasted some music in my headphones. She asked what type of music I wanted and I requested some good ol’ country. As soon as I was slid into that machine, I just tried to pretend I was in a tanning bed. Hey…whatever works, right? I think I was inside for about 25 minutes.
The nurse gave me a CD with all my MRI images on it….
Guess what I did? I started comparing my images to those on the Internet and self-diagnosing myself with crazy types of $h!t. haha. I can be such a hypochondriac but at this point in my self diagnosis, I believe I have MS, Cancer and Scoliosis. 😉
Let’s hope I’m wrong. I take my images into my neck doctor today so let’s hope they have some better news than Dr. Me had!

I sent this picture to my dad and he said it was too freaky to look at 🙂 It IS freaky and creepy. I totally agree.
I tried to compare it to other cervical MRI pictures but I swear it looks nothing like any others.
Any neck docs out there? See anything unusual?
Saturday I was on landlord duty. We borrowed this huge thing…
I went around and mowed all of our houses’ yards. It was actually a lot harder to drive than it looks. I finally got the hang of it though and it was really fun.
The only thing missing was a nice cold cocktail and I would have been all set 🙂
Sunday morning came and I realized I got poison ivy!!!!!!!!!!!! ON TOP of my 50 mosquito bites I already had!
My fingers swelled up a bit. I had a hell of a time getting off my ring. I was so scared I’d have to go to the hospital to get it removed but a lot of soap and cold water did the trick. Thankfully!
Since I’ve posted other nasty pictures of myself in this post…why not post more, right?

With my neck and itchiness, I’m seriously a hot mess right now!! LOL
To top off my weekend with a bang, one of our rental properties called and said their whole house smelled like crap. Literally.
Ryan and I had to go over to the property and found their main lateral cleanout was backed up into the yard and there was CRAP mounds all on the side of their house. No wonder their house stunk!!
OMG it was terrible. Land-lording is NOT a glamorous job.

Off to the doctor now to see if they can give me some answers about my neck and creep-o MRI images.
