My parents came to visit this weekend and somehow we got to talking about how neon is EVERYWHERE lately. We walked into breakfast right after talking about this and laughed because we saw this guy wearing FLORESCENT yellow shorts and shoes that nearly blinded us when we walked in.
I’m diggin’ it. For reals.
Did you know there’s a new fun run called the Neon Dash? It’s a 5k “fun run” that’s filled with bright colors, tutus and fun music.

The colorful folks at Neon Dash recently contacted me and asked if I wanted to run in their race this year. Of course I accepted the challenge. Who would turn down a bright challenge like this one?
You start by wearing a white shirt and maybe some blinky lights, crazy bright socks and bright accessories. The race is open to anyone and everyone and isn’t your typical race for hardcore runners. It’s more of a FUN run. Strollers are allowed which means ANYONE can partake in the fun.
You start running and throughout the course, you get sprayed with crazy florescent colors. By the end of the race, you’ll be under black lights looking like your skin just had the greatest party of it’s life 🙂
One of my favorite things about this run is that it’s at night. I can’t wait to see all the crazy bright colors popping at night. This will be my first evening 5k. Yay!
