Yesterday I spent the day working from home. At lunch, I threw on some workout clothes and some new kicks and tried Beachbody’s T25 Alpha Cardio workout for the first time.
T25 is the newest workout that BeachBody has released. Shaun T is back at it with a shorter but just as intense workout as his other DVDs. It was a lot like Insanity but shorter. The workout is based around HIIT training so you have high intensity moves followed by lower intensity moves. I like this style of training a lot so I really enjoyed my first T25 workout.
Before I started I figured it would be pretty easy to get through 25 minutes. It was harder than I thought. There were a couple times where I had to do the “modified version” for a few seconds but I’m okay with that. If I do this again, I’m sure I’ll get better at it the second time.
Here are my workout stats for the T25 Beta Cardio Workout.
- Duration: 28: 21 (included the stretch afterwards)
- Calories burned: 331
- Average Heart Rate: 171 bpm
- Maximum Heart Rate: 183 bpm

331 calories burned in less than 30 minutes is EXCELLENT. Even though it was pretty tough, I’m dying to do it again! Am I crazy?!
I was also excited to do this workout so I could try out my new Puma Faas 300 v3 shoes.

They are so cute, aren’t they!? They are light weight but provided plenty of support for me to complete the T25 Cardio workout which involved a lot of quick movements like jumping, lunges and a whole lot of other cardio moves.
