This past weekend was a blast. We went to a wedding on Friday night for two of our good friends. It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was a blast. I’ve never been to such a small wedding but I was a huge fan of the small wedding because it was more intimate. It was also really cool because the groom asked one of our guy friends to become a reverend so he could marry them. What an honor to be asked that! Very cool.
I was also the one who caught the bride’s bouquet. My boyfriend was thrilled 😉 I love this picture!  haha.
Then…like any normal couple would do, he got down and pretend proposed to me. The “reverend” even ran over because he thought it was for real. Since the reverend was my witness, does that make it more legit? No…not until you see the ring 😉

He finally let me take a normal one of us. We rarely get normal pictures together anymore, so I was pretty stoked.
At some point during the wedding, this happened..
I have no idea how this came up (it was probably the meathead it me who started a conversation about lifting), but this woman told me she can leg press 900 lbs!!!! Are you kidding me? She said she’s been working years to increase her weight and she’s now at 900lbs. I need to step my game up!
Saturday we spent the day with the newleywed’s doing their family stuff with them. Friday weddings are pretty fun because it felt like Sunday all day on Saturday.Â
I had too many cheat meals this weekend. I don’t know why I do that! I eat perfect during the week and totally spiral out of control on the weekends. I think some of it has to do with alcohol. I think I’m going to see if I can not drink for a little while..maybe that will be my new goal…
I spent Sunday afternoon doing food prep. It’s helped me jump back on track and stay eating clean this week.

Those are my new Taco Balls recipe, hard boiled eggs, oranges, watermelon, asparagus, and spinach salads.
I’ve been living on these taco balls all week. So good!
As for my workouts, I didn’t workout Saturday or Sunday. On Monday I lifted back/biceps with my boyfriend. It’s so fun lifting with him. I put him through my Savage workout. I don’t think he’ll admit it but I think he enjoys doing my Savage Workouts 🙂 I don’t blame him, they are good! After lifting, I did 25 min of HIIT on the treadmill.
On Tuesday I lifted legs at lunch. Leg day always leaves me totally sweaty, which I love, but it’s not good when you do it at lunch. I went back to work with a sweaty head. My entire head was wet haha. Attractive! In honor of leg day, this picture CRACKS me up!!!
Friends don’t let friends skip leg day 🙂 So funny. We all someone at the gym like that, I’m sure!!

I’m totally the same way about spiraling out of control on the weekends, ugh! I’m way too easily influenced, especially if I have a glass of wine in me, LOL. But great job getting back on track – I’m totally going to try your taco balls recipe!
