I successfully completed my 7 day clean eating challenge!!!! Woohoo. I’m not going to lie though…It wasn’t easy for me. This weekend was HARD to stay clean, but I did it! I’m proud of myself for setting my mind on a goal and completing it.
I was out of town on Saturday so I made sure to pack some healthy snacks like rice cakes, oats, almonds, peanut butter, protein & tuna. I managed to stick to my clean eats, but like I said, it was TOUGH.
The key to success is planning ahead.
The only things I wasn’t successful at was drinking a gallon of water on Saturday and Sunday and I also only had about 4 meals on Saturday and Sunday instead of my normal 5 or 6.
I wasn’t perfect, but am damn proud of how good I was 🙂

I can also check another fun thing off my list of 101 goals..which was to SHOOT A GUN for the first time!!!
I have never shot a gun before until this past Saturday. We were at my boyfriend’s parent’s house in the country and they have several guns and a lot of open land. They put a blue solo cup out as my target, and handed me a loaded 22. I was really nervous to shoot it but after they taught me how to use it, I took one shot and NAILED my target!!!!! I’m a natural, what can I say 😉
I was so pumped I hit it on my first try. What a way to cross something off my list! I’ll cross this one out with a bang 🙂
I feel like such a country girl now! If you didn’t know…I was born in New York and raised in Chicago until a couple years ago..so I’m a city girl at heart and all this country stuff is new to me 🙂
Have you ever shot a gun before??
