I’m so excited! This morning I found out that I am one of the semi-finalists in the running for top fitness blogs!!! Thank you so much to all of you who voted for Live Life Active!!! So I completed Day 28 (back and biceps) in Lee Labrada’s Lean Body Trainer. This concludes Month 1 of the trainer!!! Honestly, I was only doing this trainer until I figured out what my next step would be (Train for a competition, get a coach/team, Insanity or P90x…). I’ve stuck with this plan because I feel like it fits well into my every day life. The plan calls for training 7 days a week, however I’ll usually combine the active rest cardio days with a strength training day which will give me a couple off-days a week. It’s all about finding a routine that works in YOUR schedule. Everyone is different!
Here’s a look at my training for the day…
Bent Over Barbell Row: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure | 30 | 40 | 40 |

After lifting I HIIT up the treadmill. Get it? I HIIT it up…okay..I’m done.
I did 45 minutes of HIIT. I did 1 minute intervals from 4mph to 8mph. I’ll call them Crazy 8’s. I was only planning on doing 30 minutes but somehow I kept thinking about being on a boat in the lake this summer. It was all the motivation I needed to push a little further! Bring on Bikini Season baby!
As for my foods….I was damn good again yesterday about eating clean, however I only got in 4 meals.

The one good thing I did last night was that I had no carbs after 6! I’m a huge sucker for carbs so that’s not easy on me.
As for this weekend….OH I’M SO EXCITED!!! We are headed to the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio!!!!!
This is my first time going to the Arnold and I can’t wait! I am hoping that I get to meet my fitness idol, Jamie Eason. Just to SEE her would be amazing!!
I’ve heard it’s amazing. I”m hoping to get there early tomorrow morning and beat some of the crowds…because this is a BIT crazy!
I give so much credit to the competitors! It takes some guts to get out there and flaunt your s*it in front of all these people!
Gosh, I’m so excited!! On a side note..when did I turn into such a meat head?! haha I love it though!!
