Good morning everyone! I haven’t been able to post much lately but I have some huge news. If you follow my Instagram, you probably already know, but I have a new addition to my family!
Everyone meet my sweet little Macy 🙂
I rescued her…she was in a foster home after someone posted an ad online about her saying something similar to “Free for taking, if no one takes her, she’s going to the kill shelter” on a website called One Man’s Junk. You’ve gotta be kidding me right? Who would post such a sweet little puppy on a page called One Man’s JUNK? Makes me sick to think she was going to possibly be taken to a kill shelter.
Luckily a sweet foster mom took her in right away and as soon as I saw her story, I drove 3 hours to North Carolina and picked her up. The rest is history. She’s now my best friend and can’t imagine coming home without seeing her cute face excited to see me behind the door. I am so in love with her. She’s a Golden Retriever mix (mixed with Dogo Argentino, lab and chow).
Aside from being totally obsessed with my new fur-baby, I also got a chance to review this awesome little water filter. I drink a gallon of water a day so clean water is very important to me. I’m used to having the usual jug in my fridge that I fill up my water glass with, but this new water filter has a whole new spin on water filtration. It’s called the EveryDrop™ PopOut Filter & Pitcher
Okay..sorry…enough pictures of my cute pup…
The thing that’s different about the EveryDrop PopOut Filter and Pitcher is the fact that it has a pop out feature! It’s kinda like a convertible water jug….snazzy, huh?
You can take the top of the water filter off and use it outside of the jug, which is a new concept to me for water filtration systems. If you just want a cup of filtered water you can pop out the “drop” and filter it right into your cup.
It produces great-tasting water quickly. I used to be the type of person that would always grab a case of bottled water on my trip to the grocery store and stock up my fridge. Well that’s no longer me. I now like to have filtered water in my fridge to save on using up so many water bottles and also saves a lot or room in my fridge. Each EveryDrop™ Micro Contaminant Filter filters 60 gallons of water—the equivalent of 450 water bottles! Boom! Winning 🙂
This bad-boy can be purchased at Walmart.
The EveryDrop™ PopOut Filter & Pitcher also has a handy little dial to remind you when you last replaced your filter. Such a genius idea!
So far I’m a huge fan of this new kitchen gadget and will continue to use it. Mace-Face is also interested in it 🙂 Sorry, I couldn’t resist posting another one of her sweet face! #sorrynotsorry
Hope everyone is having a great week!!!
