What happens at the beach….stays at the beach I blog about.
The third day of living in Charleston, SC it was finally time to hit the beach for some Beach Day Shenanigans!
We went to the Isle of Palms beach which had the perfect combination of beach, people and pups. Nothing better than a day at the beach with some good people watching.
I also love that the whole city is so dog friendly, even the beaches. I can’t wait to bring the dogs back sometime soon.
We checked out a beach bar/restaurant after laying out and I’ll just say…
things got a bit weird 😉

I really, seriously, for REALZ wish they would come back in style. No joke. They are just so damn convenient!
It’s like a hands free purse that you’ll never lose because it’s attached to your hip!

The next day I really wanted to watch the Bears game. After Googling “Charleston Bears Bar”, I was directed to this little gem.
Mac’s Place – A CHICAGO / Bears / Irish bar downtown Charleston. As an avid Chicago sports fan who also happens to be super Irish, it couldn’t be more perfect for me!
I have a feeling this place will be seeing a lot of me during football season. A little home away from home.

We also took the DoberDogs to the Palmetto Islands County Park for some play time with other fur-babies.
Other than that, I’ve just been exploring my new city with the DoberDogs and am totally in love with my decision of moving to Charleston.
I gotta run though..just hopped on a trolly to head downtown again for more exploring!!!

You finding that Bears bar is like on HIMYM when Marshall took Robin to his favorite bar, and she practically took it over, until he found a Canadian bar for her to hang out at. Love it!
