A Bachelorette Party & Building My Shoulders

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their week.  It’s March 25th and it’s SNOWING here…whaaaaaaaaaaat?  So strange and I don’t like it one bit.

I hope you’re ready for the most random post in the world.  It’s a collection of what I’ve been up to lately and what clothes I’ve been digging lately too 🙂

Check out this new outfit that I got from Fabletics.   For some reason I’ve been drawn to the color mint lately.  This outft fits perfectly and it’s very cute!  The top is very light and airy.  It reminds me of a lululemon top but so much cheaper.

Fabletics is Kate Hudson’s sportswear line and so far I have two outfits from them.  I absolutely love them both.

Sorry the pics are a bit blurry…I have yet to perfect the gym bathroom shot 😉

I just realized I never posted pictures from my best friend’s Chicago wedding weekend either…gosh I’m way behind.

Meet my best friend, Juliana.  Isn’t she gorgeous?

We went to a nice restaurant in our hometown last Saturday for her bridal shower and then Saturday night we went out to celebrate for her bachelorette party.  It was a fun and crazy day celebrating the bride to be (not to mention it was also the day where everyone celebrated St. Patty’s day so the bars were a bitttttt willddddd)!

We had a group of about 10 girls.  We went to a nice steakhouse then hit the bars to celebrate!

By the way..thank you to all of you who voted on which dress I should wear to the bachelorette party.  I wore dress B and it was a hit!

Her wedding is in the beginning of May so I really need to start adding more cardio into my routine.  I’ve been really focusing on lifting heavy with very little cardio for the past few months and now it’s time to take it up a notch so I can fit in that bridesmaid dress!

Lately I’ve been lifting about 4 days a week and only doing about 30 min of cardio a WEEK.  It’s been nice..really nice 🙂  I just hate cardio.

I do feel like I have made progress on gaining muscle, which is very exciting for me.  I have such a hard time building muscle so any progress is a reason to celebrate over here!

I have been working on building my shoulders for a while now.  I try to lift them at least once a week but usually twice.  I snapped this picture yesterday after doing a bunch of shoulder drop-sets.  My shoulders were burning and totally shaky by the end of it.  I loved it.  Yay for progress!

Hey..it’s almost tank top season..gotta get those shoulders rockin’!!!!

As always, I’ve been doing pretty well in the gym but struggling to keep my diet super clean.  This image couldn’t say it any better…

It’s easy for me to workout for an hour of the day.  The hardest part for me is the 23 hours when I’m not working out.  Nutrition is the most important factor when trying to change your physique.  I wish it were the other way around because I can dominate the gym any day 🙂

Ohhhhhh I almost forgot to also mention BIG NEWS….

I’ve told you guys before that I recently bought my first investment property and spent months fixing it up.  Well……I finally got the  leases signed this past weekend and my tenants are moving into my house in May!!  All my hard work is finally paying off and soon I’ll be able to just sit back and just be a landlord – landlady…whatever you want to call it.

Yay!!!   Now….maybe it’s time to buy another property?  Yeah..I’m crazy if you didn’t know that already!
