The fabulous folks at BlenderBottle sent me a new BlenderBottle ProStak to try. They asked me if I needed a new blender bottle and I told them that my biggest issue with my protein shakers is that I struggle with how to store my protein and bcaa powder before adding them to the shaker bottle to drink before and after my workout.
I used to put a scoop of protein in one ziplock and my bcaas in another ziplock. This just got annoying and I had ziploc bags all inside my gym bag which led to protein powder specs all inside the bottom of my bag. I recently started bringing a whole canister of protein as well as my canister of BCAAs in my gym bag and that just got HEAVY. My gym bag shouldn’t be so darn heavy!
They said they had the perfect solution for me and sent me a ProStak.
It’s a heavy duty shaker bottle with two separate twist and lock containers to store powders or vitamins separately ON your shaker. What a great idea!
Now I put a scoop of my BCAAs in the smallest container (bottom) and have that before any fasted workouts. I put a scoop of whey protein in the bigger container (middle) and have that on my way out of the gym after my workout. It works great.
One of my favorite parts of this bottle is that you can tell it’s made with high quality materials. It’s a bit heavier and SOLID. I’ve also found that it doesn’t hold onto the nasty smell of protein as much as other shaker bottles do. If has been easier to keep clean..I hope it stays that way! The snap and lock feature can be a bit tricky to get apart sometimes, but that just means it won’t come apart in my gym bag I guess!
