Country Concert, Cravings and A Crazy Doberman

This past weekend was supposed to be a total relaxation…get $*!t done  type of weekend.  Friday night was a success.  I hit the gym after work and was productive all Friday night.

Saturday came around and somehow I got convinced to go to the Jason Aldean concert.  I love country concerts so it was pretty hard to pass up.

He played in Noblesville, IN and it was a beautiful night.  The weather was just perfect.

Ryan and I rocking our country attire. I just needed a cowboy hat!

We sat in the Lawn which is far away from the stage but is always a fun party.  Yes, I happened to have some adult beverages while at the venue….

Which led my Sunday to be a complete waste.  I wasn’t feeling so hot if you get what I’m sayin!  Ugh…the down side of having a fun night with some drinks!!!

Whenever I have a long night like this, I always crave some crazy things the next morning.  Sunday I was completely craving fruit and lucky charms.

No I’m not pregnant.

Monday I was finally back to feeling like myself and hit up the gym at lunch.  I did arms, abs and cardio and it only took about an hour.  My workout consisted of:

  • Barbell Curls
  • Overhead cable curls
  • Dumbbell hammer curls
  • Dips
  • Skullcrushers
  • Tricep Push down
  • Weighted incline situps
  • Planks

I ended my lunch session with 15 minutes on the elliptical before heading back to work.  I wanted to get in 30 min of cardio so I took my dog, Max, for a 15 min jog around the neighborhood when I got home from work.

My other dog didn’t get to come on the jog because someone had been a naughty girl!

When I got home from work, I found a ton of my stuff out in my back yard.  When we’re gone, she sometimes takes our stuff outside through her doggy door and leaves it in the yard for us to hunt down and find like a scavenger hunt.  I don’t know if she thinks it’s funny but it F’n SUCKS.

I found shoes, an extension cord, an empty bag from a brand new loaf of bread that she ate, sunglasses and my iPad case scattered throughout the yard.

She spent the next 20 minutes with her nose in the corner.  No joke.

Oh the joys of having a dog.  I don’t know why she does this though…it happens too often.  I think it’s some type of separation anxiety.  Do we take out the doggy door?  Leave her in her cage?  I don’t want to do either but we may have to before our whole house ends up in the yard!

Dog Whisperer…Where are you??

Anyone have any advice?
