This past Friday we went to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. That place is soooo good but will empty your pockets for sure!
I ended up getting the salmon and it was really good. I don’t normally order fish at restaurants but I thought I’d give it a try and so glad I did!
When I got home Friday I had a couple items waiting on me! I love when my supplements get delivered!!! I got my Isagenix of course along with a Jacked in a Box . Jacked in a box is the new name for the Muscle & Fitness supplement sampling program. They send me a box every month with new products to try.
How cute and clever is the name Jacked In A Box?? I love it!
Saturday we went to Ryan’s family reunion. He has a HUGE family and whenever they get together there’s always some type of competitive sports going on. This year they played a couple hours of basketball before the reunion and then about 2 1/2 hours of volleyball during the reunion. Gotta love family who stay active!
Sunday was a day of relaxation with my pups…
And some food prep….
I prepped green beans, sweet potatoes, lean ground beef patties and chicken & peppers. These are the 5 meals I’ll bring to work for meal 2 this week.
I have just a few days left until I head to Cali for a week long vacation. I want to stay pretty strict with my diet until I leave. My meal plan for this week to get ready for my trip to California looks like this:
Meal 1:
1/4 cup oats with 1 tbs natural peanut butter & 1/4 cup blueberries. IsaPro & 2 scoops of Want More Energy
Meal 2:
Green Beans, sweet potato and chicken/beef (pictured above)
Meal 3:
6 oz plain greek yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup Kashi honey almond cereal
Workout
Meal 4:
Post Workout IsaLean Pro or IsaLean bar
Meal 5:
Chicken/peppers or lean beef patty and spinach
Meal 6:
Casein before bed
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do or see in California next week? I’ll be in the Newport Beach area. The only thing I have on my to-do list is to try surfing!!!
Enjoy your trip to California!! I love Ruth Chris but haven’t been there in quite some time – probably because of the price. That salmon does look terrific!!
If you can make it to Disneyland I would definitely go there! I’m not a big southern California girl, born and raised in the Bay Area and now live in the Central Valley….if you ever go in either of those directions I would have way more suggestions!
Thanks Dana 🙂
