I have been really bad lately about updating my 101 in 1001 list so I figured I’d do a recap of a few things I forgot to check off my list recently. I can’t believe I started this list in 2011. I only have until September of 2014 to get everything done but I think I can do it!
#43 – Go to 2 cubs games (1/2 completed)
A couple weekends ago my dad invited us to a Cubs game at Wrigley. There is no better place to be than Wrigley on a sunny Saturday May afternoon. I will always be a Cubs girl..forever!!
To make things even more amazing, he got us tickets to sit FIRST row behind home plate. We were on TV the entire time..for EVERY pitch. It was a blast!
Ryan and I outside the front of Wrigley!
Check out how close our seats were. It was unbelievable to have the opportunity to sit there!
#83 – Get 6 Manicures (4/6 Completed)
I know you may be wondering how in the world have I only gotten 6 manicures since the end of 2011!!! 😉 I don’t get them too often but I think I need to change that!
The above picture was taken a couple days before I broke my darn finger. It was pretty while it lasted…
#94 – Send flowers to someone
Do cookie flowers count? I sent these awesome cookie flowers to someone recently because they were just too darn cute! I think it counts.
#79 – Meet someone famous
Well…I forgot to cross this off my list a while ago but when I was at the Arnold Classic this year I met a couple people that I would consider “famous”.
First, I met Finland’s strongest man… Hafbor Thor Björnsson (“Thor”) from Finland. This was the biggest dude I’ve ever seen in my life…no joke. I actually just watched him compete on ESPN in a strongman competition and is 6’9 and 430 lbs. He made me look like a mini me!
I also got to meet the rapper, Grandmaster Melly Mel. He sang some hit songs back in the day. He performed at the Arnold Classic Party With The Pros after party.
Last but not least, I got to meet the one and only ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER that night. I even shook his hand!
Hopefully I can keep more up to date on my list, because I have a lot of work to do before September 2014!
