Tonight I hit up the grocery store and picked up a few staples. When I got home I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to have for dinner, so I came up with this little gem.
Introducing the Chicken Salad Taco Recipe 🙂
- 1 can of Sam’s club 100% natural canned chicken. ( I know canned chicken sounds gross but Sam’s club actually has some great stuff!)
- 1 6oz container of plain greek yogurt.
- 3 whole wheat tortillas.
- 1/2 container of spicy corn salsa.
This will make 3 servings (tacos).
1 taco has only 294.2 calories, 5.5g of fat, 26.5 carbs and 29.5 g of protein!
These would be great to have as any of your first few meals of the day. If you’re like me, you may not want to have them as your last (6th) meal because I don’t like eating high carbs in my last meal.
Here is the nutrition breakdown. I try to do a 40/40/20 macro ratio and it’s pretty darn close to that!
