I had another successful clean eating day yesterday, however I found myself craving more junk yesterday than I did the previous 2 days. I am 3/7ths of the way through my Weekly Goal of eating 100% clean for 7 days straight 🙂

Two of my meals consisted of this mammoth sized salad I got at Whole
Paycheck Foods yesterday. I love the salad bar they have at Whole Foods, but I am not a fan of the price. After checking out with just a water and salad, my bill was frickin’ $8.88!!! For a salad and a water!?! Holy crapoli!
At least it was REALLY good to make up for it. I ended up splitting it in half and having it for meals 2 and 3.
I also tried quinoa for the first time. I’m all about texture with my food and this was a really weird texture! It felt like I was eating a whole bunch of soft poppy seeds or something. Very strange. It didn’t have much flavor though..so I don’t know if I liked it or not. I’ll probably give it another shot since I’ve heard a lot of people love it.
After work I went to the gym to lift back and biceps.
I’ve been making sure to do a couple more reps with my left arm when working biceps because it’s growing a little slower than my right one. Hopefully I can even them out soon with a little special attention. It’s probably because I have NO coordination with my left hand. It’s always been a bit slow 😉
My lift took about 40 minutes and then I finished it off with 20 minutes on the stair master doing intervals at a pre-setting the machine had. I set it to level 8 and let the machine do the rest of the work. I had a good sweat going.
Do you wear shorts or pants when you workout? I used to always wear really baggy “soccer” shorts, then I switched it up to tight capri style tight pants every day. After my boyfriend told me all my capris were turning into “saggy butt” and loose, I figured I’d try out some new tight shorts for a first time.
I bought some and I think I like them! I stayed so much cooler during my workout and didn’t have ol’ saggy butt anymore. What do you think?

When I got home….oh boy…my little puppy Mya was in biiiiiiig trouble!
We let her roam the house when we are at work and she’s been SOOO bad lately. It seems like she chews up EVERYTHING it’s so frusterating!!! We always make sure to keep our bedroom doors shut so she can’t chew on any of our valuable stuff. Well…..yesterday the door somehow wasn’t closed when we left for work and Mya had a time of her life chewing up a ton of my shoes.
She got sent to her cage for the rest of the night. I guess it just means I get to go shoe shopping soon though, right?!?
After all that madness, I called ATT Uverse to see if I could try out some movie channels for free. Did you know you can do that? I do it every couple months and they ALWAYS give something to me for free. The catch is that you have to remember to cancel it before your trial is up, if you don’t want it anymore. I used to do it with Comcast too and it always works. I got us Showtime, Starz, Encore and The Movie Channel. I let my boyfriend pick a movie that he wanted to see, so we watched the movie Religulous.
It’s a documentary about religion. Have you seen it? If you’re religious, did it piss you off? I’m personally not a super religious person, so I found it pretty comical.

NOTE: Thanks to my fabulous readers, I just found out that deli meat is NOT considered clean. Most deli meat have preservatives in them, such as nitrate, to keep them fresh. I’m not going to let this ruin my 7 day goal of eating 100% clean. I’ll blame it on ignorance on my end. I should have known this though!!! grrr….
