Turkeystrone Soup Recipe

I don’t know about you but I love some good old fashioned Minestrone soup.  I wanted to make a clean recipe that tasted like it but packed with meat.  I decided to call this recipe “turkey-strone soup”.

Ingredients –

  • 2 lbs lean ground turkey
  • 3 oz french green beans
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 can of sliced carrots
  • 3 cans of low sodium, fat free chicken broth
  • 1 can of tomato soup
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 bay leaves

First, set your stove to medium and cook the ground turkey.  Cook until no longer pink.

Add all the ingredients to the pot on top of the turkey.

Heat and occasionally stir for about 10  minutes.

Remove the bay leaves and you’re ready to eat!

This is such a simple recipe that doesn’t take much time at all!! Just throw in any veggies you have on hand.  It tasted great!

I divided the big pot up into 8 servings to eat throughout the week.
