Hey Everyone!!! Sorry I didn’t update this weekend, but it was jam packed! Some good…some bad…
Let’s start with the bad…
If you follow my Facebook page, you probably heard the accident I had on Friday night. I was waiting for the BF to get out of work around 8pm. After he got home we were going to head out to his home-town to spend the night so that we were an hour closer to the Arnold Classic. We wanted to be able to get up really early and leave from his Mom’s. Well…our plan to leave at about 8:30pm came to a hault when I was on Facebook and saw someone post an awesome recipe for baked sweet potatoes. I was slicing up my sweet potato and sliced my finger!!!!
It would NOT stop bleeding.
I won’t go into much detail about it because it was nasty. I ended up driving myself to the ER and getting a few stitches. We headed out of town around 11:30 after I got home from the ER.
Rough way to start the weekend!!!
Saturday morning came and we headed to Columbus, Ohio for the Arnold Classic. We left at 6:30am because we wanted to get there when it opened at 9. I went with my BF and one of his buddies. We got there a little bit after 9.
The expo was awesome. I expected it to be crowded but not THAT crowded. Holy hell! There were times when we were stuck at a standstill in a crowd of people where no one was moving for a few minutes.
The combination of the protein packed farts and sweaty meat heads was enough to get me a little irritated. I swear I kept walking through nasty clouds of farts!
Other than that, I had a great time. I got to see everyone who I wanted to see, plus some more!
My number one person I wanted to see was Jamie Eason, of course. The line to take a picture with her was literally about 3 hours long so we decided to skip that one. I did get up close enough to take a couple pictures though. She’s so stinkin’ adorable and tiny in person. I didn’t realize how short she is!!
Another highlight of my trip is meeting the fitness model Amanda Adams. I’ve been a fan of hers on Facebook for a while now and she’s such an inspiration. She was such a sweetheart too in person! It’s sad to say, but I got pretty nervous when I talked to her. I felt like a little school girl who forgot her name. Oh well…s*#t happens 🙂
I got a fun picture with strongman, Andy Hamman.
And the guys got a picture with Bill Kazmaier who has won the strongman competitions many times back in the day. Now he is a well-known judge in the industry.
We got to watch the fitness division compete. It was the first time I’ve ever seen a competition in person.
We saw Lou!!!!!!!! Wudup Hulk!!?!?!
I also got a picture with two NFL players. I’m a huge Bears fan, so that was fun 🙂
To top it all off…I got a TON of free supplements to try!
We were only there for 3 hours because my friend had the premier of his ABC reality show that he was in on Saturday. We couldn’t miss that, of course! I can’t believe how much free stuff I got in just 3 hours. I can’t imagine how much I would have gotten if I stayed the whole weekend.
We decided that next year we’ll have to go on Sunday. I think the crowds would be better on a Sunday. I don’t want to get stuck in another meat-head’s protein fart cloud again. Eeekkk.

Mine is Jamie Eason. She’s such an inspiration and such a sweetheart!
