Saved By The Spray Tan

There’s nothing that makes me feel better than an awesome leg workout and a fresh spray tan!  I kept looking at myself in the mirror at the gym and noticed how ghostly white I was!  After my trip to the Bahamas, I’ve really let myself white out! We had a situation on our hands people…

Luckily for me…I own a spray tanning business and can spray tan myself at home 🙂 I showered, exfoliated, shaved and spray tanned myself.  BAM I’m feeling like a whole new person today.  I love how my body looks tighter in all the right places when I’m tan.  I understand why competitors tan before their show.  It seriously works wonders. 

I wonder what people at work are thinking of me today.  I left work on Wednesday white as fresh snow..and now I look like I just got back from a Caribbean get-a-way.  I love spray tanning 🙂

I completed day 26 last night.  It was LEG DAY! Woohoo.  I love leg day.  I think I love it so much because I was a soccer player my whole life so I’ve always had a stronger lower body than upper.  PLUS….gotta raise up that booty for bikini season..just sayin…

 Straight Leg Barbell Deadlift: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure    60  60  60
 Seated Calf Raises: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure    50  50  50
 Angled Calf Raises: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure        
 Crunches: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure        
 Hanging Leg Raises: 2 sets of 10-12 reps, 1 set to failure        

I also added in some double lunges and a few more ab exercises. 

I stayed pretty clean again yesterday with my eats.  I managed to have 6 meals yesterday..yeyyyyerrr!  High Five!

Wednesday Time  2/29/12
Meal 1 740 1/4 cup oatmeal, 1 packet of Stevia, 1/4 cup protein, water
Meal 2 10 1 low sodium rice cake, almonds (6)
Meal 3 12 Subway 6″ Chipotle Chicken & cheddar on flat bread with green peppers, water
Meal 4 3 Subway 6″ wheat with turkey, American cheese and veggies
  4 Gym
Meal 5 6 Post workout protein shake (1 scoop)
Meal 6 7 Chicken, corn, sweet potato, water

I went to Subway at lunch and got a foot-long sandwich.  I split it up between meal 3 and 4.  It probably isn’t the most clean thing to eat..but hey..it’s better than a lot of other options I have at lunch on-the-go.

I also downed about 175 oz of water.  That’s 1.3 gallons! Dang. Yes…I was in the bathroom every 10 minutes.  It sucks but hey that’s extra exercise too, right? chug a lug!

Do you spray tan? Or do you still tan in tanning beds?

I only tan in tanning beds before a tropical vacation so that it prevents me from burning on vacation.  I started spray tanning in 2009 and LOVE IT!  It’s so much healthier and I feel like I get a better “brown” color from it.  <3

    • Me too!! The boyfriend and I used to eat it at least once a day. The employees know us by name and know everything about us! Haha that’s sad.

    • I’m so jealous you’re going to Florida!!! Lucky you. I’m going to the Arnold Classic Sports Festival though so I guess I can’t complain.
