I only had about 40 minutes to get my workout in yesterday because I had scheduled to take my pups to the vet. I rushed to the gym and had a quick chest/tricep/shoulder workout. I completed Day 7 of Lee Labrada’s Lean Body Trainer. My shoulders were burning when I left the gym. I love when you can get a productive workout in for not much time. No excuses for me not making it to the gym!
Here’s a look at my training for the day…
I ended up doing cable crossovers instead of the Pec Dec. I also did regular bench press instead of at an incline. I’m really not sure why I changed those two up…just felt like it I guess 🙂
At this point, I’ve completed one full week on Lee Labrada’s Lean Body Trainer. This was another plan that I found on Bodybuilding.com (alongside Jamie’s LiveFit program). Lee Labrada , former IFBB Mr. Universe, really knows his stuff! Every day he gives you a workout plus some helpful information on nutrition. I’ve already learned some good information from this plan.
I am doing his plan until I figure out what to do next. I don’t think I’ll do the entire 12 weeks on his plan because I’m eager to start P90x or join a fitness team like Team Savage or Bombshell.
Overall, Lee Labrada’s program is a lot like Jamie Eason’s Live Fit trainer. They both seem to be excellent programs! The main difference I have seen so far is that Lee doesn’t have any off/rest days. He considers cardio-only days to be your rest day. I don’t like training 7 days a week, so that plan would have to be modified for me.
After my workout, I finally took the pups to the Vet. We have been bad parents and haven’t taken Max in for a LONG time. They were both perfectly healthy. That’s awesome for a dog who’s 8 years old! Good job Max!

So I’m trying to find out how to buy P90x for a cheaper price. It’s like $140 bucks! That’s a lot! I’m thinking I may buy it off of Ebay but I always get a little nervous buying something from there. Knowing my luck, I’d get some scratched DVDs or something. I’m also trying to find a friend who has it so I can just borrow it.
Anyone know where I can get the p90x DVD set for cheaper than $140?
I’ve even thought about becoming a Beachbody coach just to get the discount! I’ll do anything to save a penny 😉
You still have a couple hours to enter my GIVEAWAY. Entries will be accepted until 12EST!

I love your adoration of training plans! Seriously- wish I could stick with them as well!
Hi there. I just found your blog and I gotta say, I love it. I recently bought P90X off of Craigslist. Initially I thought about Ebay too, but didn’t want to risk getting scratched disks like you said. Craigslist was good for me because it was local and I was able to inspect the disks before I handed over the money. I haven’t played all the DVDs yet, but I have done the yoga and one of the cardio DVDs and they both worked great! Good luck!
That’s so funny you just left this comment! I was about to buy it from a guy from Craigslist last night but I ended up getting a bit weirded out by him and decided not to go. I’ve gotta find a non creeper out there to sell it to me for cheap! I’m glad your set is working well for ya!
You could try Supreme 90 (https://www.supreme90day.com). I’ve heard it is pretty comparable to P90x and it’s $19.99.
Thanks Sami! I’ll look into that!
