NYE Party Planning

I’ve been so busy lately with my new puppy and trying to get my house ready for a new years party we’re having on Saturday.  We literally just decided on Wednesday that we’re gonna have at least 20 people over to celebrate.

I’ve been dedicating all my time to cleaning out the garage for more space for guests, painting bathroom cabinets (the cabinets were removed like 5 months ago and we’ve put this project off for too long!), and babysitting my 8 week old puppy Doberman!  It’s been super tiring and time consuming.

I haven’t even had time to workout much this week so I feel like a slacker and a slob.  I only worked out on Tuesday! That’s the least active I’ve been in 3 months!!!  Oh well…

A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

After work today, I’ll be bustin’ my butt to finish cleaning the garage out (it seriously looks like we turned into hoarders by the amount of shiznit we ended up collecting in there!), putting another coat of paint on the bathroom cabinets, re-attaching the cabinets and cleaning the house like a madwoman.  Too bad I’ll end up cleaning forever and already know that it will be a mess right away from the dogs and the party.  As long as it looks good for when guests arrive..I’m cool with it!

I think we’ve finally decided on the name for my puppy!! I say “think” because for some reason I keep forgetting it when I go to yell her name.  That’s not good haha.  For the time being, her name is Mya!  I like it (when I remember it).  Am I that old already that I’m forgetting things? Jeeze.

gosh..I love her so much already!!! Let’s hope she can refrain from peeing or crapping on any of my guests at the party.  That would not be a nice party favor.

I can’t believe it’s almost 2012 already! Time flies!  I’d have to say that 2011 was a great year though.  I bought my first house and got a new puppy!

I don’t particularly like New Years Eve though..I always end up getting too excited for it, spending too much money and being a bit disapointed by it.  That’s why we wanted to have a party this year..so that we wouldn’t have to sell a kidney to pay the cover at a bar for the night that ends up being a crowded let down.

I hope you guys don’t end up at this party… we’ve all been there…

Hopefully a night at my place with close friends and booze…lots of booze… will be a better alternative than the bars.

I hope you all have a fantastic New Years Eve!!!
