Every year my dad fills our Christmas stocking with joke gifts. It always turns out that he is the one who gets the biggest kick out of the toys and plays with them the longest. He’s awesome. This year I wanted to add a couple fun things to his stocking. I got him a wooden puzzle and some spit balls! I have no clue what spit balls are but they say that they grow 200 times their size, they slip, slide, bounce & explode. They glow in the dark and most importantly are FUN to THROW! I don’t think it gets more perfect than that?!
Perfect gift for my dad 🙂 Can’t wait to get hit in the face with one of these spit balls on Christmas night. My dad is still a big kid. I love it.
At lunch, I was craving a burrito so I hit up Moe’s Southwestern Grill. That place is so freaking good. I got an Art Vandelay vegetarian burrito. Mexican food is my weakness but I don’t regret it by any stretch of the imagination.
After work it was time for Day 67 – Hamstrings/Glutes/Calves.

I was going to list my favorite superset of this workout but all these leg exercises were crazy in their own way. Each superset had their own torturous piece. My legs were on fire. On a positive note, the workouts in this program have really shaped my behind quite nicely. I think the workouts have raised my butt and made my pants shorter. Great..that’s just what this tall girl needs..shorter pants. Actually….I’ll take short pants for a nice tushy though, any day.
After lifting legs, I decided I’d run a mile on the treadmill even though it wasn’t on the plan. I remembered I had a big lunch and wanted to do just a little bit of cardio. I ran a mile and called it a night.
The workout took me 1:09 and I burned 626 calories.
After the gym I ran to Target to get some wrapping paper and finally wrapped all my gifts. Woohoo I’m glad that’s done! I’ve got the boyfriend’s presents under the tree and my Chicago gifts ready to go in a box.
I’ve really dominated my to-do list this week. It helps me so much to write down an actual list where I can cross things off. I have a small obsession with crossing off things on lists. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something when I put a line through something. Yeah..maybe I’m weird..maybe you already knew that.
Tomorrow I have a manicure and date night with the boyfriend before we go our seperate ways for the holidays. We’re not engaged or married so we spend our holidays with our own families in seperate states.
Only two more sleeps until Christmas weekend. We can do this!!

Wow, you burned 600+ calories in 1 workout? How many extra calories do you eat to make up for what you burn?
Yep! I always burn a ton of calories on leg days! If you look at my more recent posts, you’ll see that I eat a LOT. I don’t count calories but I eat every 2-3 hours. Gotta keep that matabolism on fire!
