I’m officially in a rut. A workout rut.
I am drained from this workout program. I’m physically and mentally drained.
I couldn’t get myself into the gym to do Day 60’s workout. I ended up taking the whole weekend off from working out in hopes that I would be ready to go on Monday.
Monday came and this girl just wanted to lay in her cozy bed and take a nap instead.
My thing is….it’s so hard to go to the gym in the winter. It’s freezing cold and it’s dark when I go to work, and dark so early after work.
I was soooo drained at work on Monday that I came home and hit the couch…hard. I napped and then forced myself to get up around 6:30pm.
Okay..I’m done complaining now. Sorry.
I forced myself to get up and make my way to the gym.
I barely completed Day 60 – Hamstrings, Glutes & Calves workout…but the good news is that I completed it.
I don’t know what’s with me lately. I just have no motivation. I should have all the motivation in the world to get my workouts in since I’ll be crusing the Bahamas in a tiny weenie bikini in mid January! Hopefully I snap out of it fast.
Aside from my workout rut, I had a great Saturday night. My girlfriends from Chicago came into town and we went to an amazing sushi place. First of all, I’m scared of the word Sushi. I don’t even like any fish except for Tuna out of a can. Is that even considered fish?
My boyfriend had a Groupon to this Sushi place called Sensu. I was hesistant to go, but went to be a trooper. The verdict..I loved it!!! I surprised everyone including myself by trying a bunch of different things. I liked all of our appetizers. The only sushi that I liked was a snowcrab wrapped in white rice and not that seaweed stuff. Hey…this is a big step in the right direction. I’ve always wanted to like this stuff!
Baby steps…baby steps…right, What About Bob? I love that movie!!!
Picture at dinner. Sorry the the picture is terribly dark.
After dinner we went out to a bar downtown and met up with some other friends. We had a blast. I love spending time with my girls 🙂
Lots of laughs…and a little bit of bull riding too 🙂
I’m ready for the weekend again!

I get in a workout rut in the winter too. I wish it was just sunny and warm all the time 🙂
