Friday after work I was exhausted! I guess a full work week plus 6 days at the gym takes a toll on me. I had to head home after work and take a quick power nap. It was freezing in my house. I don’t know if our heat was broken or what, but Max (our Doberman) and I were shivering all night. I felt soooo bad when I literally heard Max’s teeth chattering. That’s when I had to tell Ryan (my boyfriend) to go check on our furnace. I don’t know what he did but after he got out of the attic, our heat started to come on and we got a little warmer. Check out Max all bundled up 😉 I love him!!
After my nap, I got dressed and hit the gym. It was day 34 of my 12-week program so it was legs day again. I was still sore from the last leg day but it’s okay because leg day is my favorite. I used to get irritated when I was sore, but now I love the feeling because I know that the changes in the trainer are working! Soreness is good!!
Going to the gym on a Friday evening at 8pm is AWESOME. I felt like I had the whole gym to myself! I wish every day was like that. Instead, I usually pick to go at the worst time during the week….right after work at 4:30ish. It’s normally so busy so this was a great change. No fighting for machines and
no not as many creepers who think staring at girls in the gym is cool.
I upped my weight in stiff legged deadlifts to 60lbs. I was pretty proud. Ryan snapped a couple pictures of me when I was lifting. He told me I looked like a natural 🙂

Those one legged squats were KILLLLLLLER!!!!! Man were my legs burning!!
After the gym I made a quick turkey, cheese and turkey bacon sandwich and washed it down with a chocolate protein shake.
We stayed in Friday night and layed low. We rested up because we had a wedding on Saturday and wanted to go to the gym again in the morning.
What’s your favorite time to go to the gym? I prefer going right after work so I can have the night to myself, however going later when it’s more empty is awesome!!!
