Race To Wrigley is Sold Out!!!

Thanks to everyone on their advice on which race I should do.  One of my friends just informed me that the Race To Wrigley 5k is now sold out.  🙁 🙁 🙁 I guess I waited to long to register for that one.  It looks like I’ll do the Firefighters race on Thursday especially since it’s supposed to be sunny out.  Hopefully I register in time for that one.

Tuesday was an icky day.  No one likes a day when they have to go in for a yearly girls doctor visit.  I don’t think that situation will EVER be comfortable.  I had the same doctor in Chicago for a while but now that I’m new to Indy I had to find a new one which makes it even harder.  I hate going in there more than any other doctor visit.

The only plus to my doc visit was that I got to leave work early, so my work day was cut short.  My morning started with some Aunt Millies Wheat bread and Laughing Cow light cheese.  No need for a picture here because it’s just repetitive and boring I’m sure.

For lunch I wanted to stay at the office and work through lunch since I was leaving early.  I gave our work cafeteria a shot.  They had some new additions and I was pleasantly surprised.  I went with the deli choice of a Turkey and Cranberry Cream Cheese sandwich.

Our cafeteria usually puts up signs next to the food of nutritional information for most options.

I don’t know what it is, but for some reason I just don’t believe the signs are right!  Either way though, I like having some kind of guidance when ordering food to figure out what the best option is.  I’m proud my office cafe is on the right track.  My turkey sandwich was OOOOOOOZING with that cranberry cream sauce and a shit ton of turkey.  I scraped off a huge pile of the sauce in hopes to make it more accurate.  Who knows if it worked or not.  Cafeteria food is hard to measure because you don’t know what they really do in the back to make the ingredients.  Either way though, it was good and filling!

For Din Din I made some sweet potato fries on the Pizazz and a Morning Star chicken patty.

It was an okay meal, but the fries could use honey for sure.  I’ve got to figure out a better way to make sweet potato fries.  The pizazz did some impressive work though!

I felt like doing nothing again last night.  When my aunt is about to visit, I don’t feel like doing ANNNNYTHING!  I just get tired, lazy and hungry.  When my boyfriend left to go play in a basketball game, I figured I HAD to get my ass off the couch and at least Shred.  I finally pulled out good old Jillian and Shredded up level 1.  I’m glad I at least did some exercise.  My arms are pretty sore today.  You can never go wrong with a little Killian Michaels.

I wish I had a picture of this, but I was to tired to take one.  Last night when laying in bed, my yoga mat was still on the floor in my bedroom.  For some reason my dog, Max loves sitting on any new type of surface.  He sat on the yoga mat and brought his stuffed dog to play with on it and started tearing it up.  My boyfriend said “Hey look! Max is Shredding too!” I thought it was the cutest thing ever.  My boyfriend now knows our lingo 😉
