Grinding Big

First off, thanks to everyone for helping on my bridal shower outfit that I still have yet to buy.  I think I’m going to go tonight or tomorrow to pick it up.  If they have my size, I’ll get it and wear it with a white cardigan and white flippy floppys to dress it down.

I went back to W. G. Grinders at lunch but this time I took my man.  I haven’t really mentioned much detail about him, but he eats like a hungry hungry hippo.  He played basketball in college, so he’s 6’5 and can eat all day, every day.  So, knowing this, I printed out a coupon for him to this new lunch spot I found so he could get more food for less.  It seriously gets expensive feeding a big guy like him!!  I felt like jumping off the diet train and ordering a 6 inch pizza grinder.  It was unbelievable.  When I got back to work I checked the nutritional info and it also had an unbelievable amount of calories and fat.  This time unbelievable in a bad way.  I had no clue that one sub could have 820 calories in it!!! I knew I’d have to keep dinner light later on after that sucka.  This was only half of it…

The big guy had my coupon that was “buy one sandwich get one free”.  He took full advantage of it and ordered the biggest sub in the place…twice.  They have 20 inch subs there and he got TWO!  That’s 40 inches of subs!!  When they brought out the two, I couldn’t believe it and I was actually kind of embarrassed.  People kept coming up to us to just look at how much food he got.  (On one of our anniversary dinners he ate so much that the waiter comped our desert because he had never seen someone eat so much before! haha what a romantic anniversary dinner.  Free desert though? I’m in!)  He ate about half of his 2 grinders and saved the rest for dinner.  Check out these bad boys…

At this point, you’re probably thinking I’m dating some type of lard ass guy.  He’s the opposite.  He works out a lot and can eat so much and never gain weight.  Guys are so lucky sometimes.

I went for a run after knowing I had enough pepperoni stored in my body to feed a small family.  Running made me feel better mentally.  I didn’t have the urge to go to the bathroom this time either, WAHOOO!

Dinner was light.  I made two eggs and two pieces of toast with some ketchup of course.  I LOVE these egg beater cups!! They are so perfect.  Unlike other eggs, or even a carton of egg beaters, these last a lot longer.  My eggs and egg beater cartens always expire before I finish them.  These last longer because they are individually packaged.  They weren’t too much more expensive either.  I’ll definitely be getting these more often. Each cup is a serving of 2 eggs and only about 60 calories! SHWING!!

Happy hump day!!  Only 3 more days until my first 5k ever!!!
