When Eddie Met Salad

This morning I went back to the usual routine of bringing in 2 pieces of Aunt Millies bread to eat for breakfast.  B-O-R-I-N-G.  I ate them dry. M-O-R-E  B-O-R-I-N-G.  It always seems to hold me over until lunch though.  Now that I got my cereal Tupperware though, I’ve gotta go back to cereal in the mornings – but I’ll have to bring something else to munch on, or more cereal I guess.

Friday at lunch I went to When Eddie Met Salad.  This place is amazing.  Picture a Chipotle but with salad.  You go across the salad bar and tell them what type of greens you want and what you want on your salad, as if you’re making a burrito 😉  They have SOO many toppings to choose from and even a large variety of fat-free dressings.  You know how much I hate it when there are no healthy dressing options.

I went with a house mix of greens with carrots, green olives, strawberries, corn and fat-free french.  It was great.

When Eddie Met Salad

I think we need more places like When Eddie Met Salad.

Tonight is pizza and beer night and we’ll probably go out all day on Saturday for the Butler game and out to dinner with my family a few times.  I hope I don’t overindulge like I did last weekend (perfect, the word overindulge even has my name in it…that’s a great sign).

Have a good weekend ya’ll!

  1. It’s fun reading another blog from an Indy girl – I see all sorts of things I recognize. It’s kind of like seeing your town in a movie! LOL. I love salad places — I’ve also recently gotten addicted to the veggie hummus pitas from Pita Pit!
