Jillian Michaels iFit Level 1 Card – Get Fit (Program 10)

After reviewing Jillian Michaels iFit Level 1 card – Get Fit  yesterday with a negative feeling about it, I decided to give it another shot.  In the other review I started at program 1 of 24 on the treadmill and thought it was way too easy.  Last night I decided to jump it up to program 10 of 24 in hopes for a better workout.  Overall, I still don’t feel like I got a good enough workout. 

Negative:

The speed only went up to 3.5 and incline to 6%.  I was always manually adjusting the speed to make it a harder workout.  I never felt winded at all.  Jillian also repeats herself WAY too much within the workout.  Within the first minute, she told me that my legs should start burning.  I don’t think so Jillian, I just started and I’m going 2.5 mph!

Positive:

I got a different type of workout in.  Because I normally just run, it was nice to be able to walk for a half hour and still burn 200 calories.  I think this card and level would be good for someone who doesn’t normally run on a regular basis.

I’m still not completely giving up on this card.  I’m going to kick the card up to Program 23 or 24 and see what the last days are like on this card.  While scrolling through the programs, it looks like these may be a little more challenging.  I think one said it went to an incline of 10% and speed of 5 or something similar.  I’m willing to give Jillian one more shot!!  I’ll post a review when I try it out.
