Back on track baaaby!

132.0

Yesterday I was back in the routine and it felt great.  I kicked ass on fitness and eating right.  Unlike other people in the corporate world, I NEVER pack my lunch.  I’d rather sleep in a little bit later instead of packing a lunch.  Therefore, I go out to eat every day or eat in our crappy cafeteria here at work.  It’s been a bit tough in my mission to find healthy food at fast food restaurants.  Here’s my newest find.

McDonald’s Soutwest Grilled Chicken Salad-

Calories: 320

Fat: 9g

Sat Fat: 3g

Cholest: 70mg

Sodium: 960mg

Carb: 30g

Fiber 6g

Sugars: 11g

On top of the salad, I added some low fat dressing.

McDonald’s Low Fat Balsamic Vinegerette Dressing-

It was pretty darn good! It had a Mexican food taste to it because of the tortilla chips and beans.  It really filled me up because of the Chicken and I wasn’t hungry until dinner..which rarely happens!

After work I came home and convinced my boyfriend and Max to go on a run with me. We ran around the neighborhood for 2.4 miles at a pace of 8:42 and burned 252 calories.  I loved running with them because I don’t think I would’ve had the motivation to run the entire time with out them.  We didn’t stop once.  Max was once again tired afterwards, but he’s getting in better shape with me 🙂

After the run I made my favorite Lean Cuisine – 3 meat deep dish pizza. YUMMMMY.  I also added some fat free ranch which topped it off to perfection.

Then I decided to feel like a badass and do some more fitness.  I ordered Jillian Michael’s iFit card for the treadmill level 1.  I’ll do a review of this later today.  Burned another 150 calories.

Before bed I also did some strength work because my arms were feeling left out.  I did a bunch of The Shred moves, just didn’t have The Shred playing.  Maybe I’ll do some shredding tonight.

Overall, I kicked ass yesterday and I’m proud of myself 🙂  Also, I’m at my lowest weight in a while! HooooRahhh!  It truly is A Great Day To Be Alive.

I know my net calories are low, but earlier in the day, I didn’t plan on working out as much as I did.

Oh, and HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!! It’s one of my favorite holidays 🙂

  1. Oh pizza and ranch… I just LOVE that combination. People in Chicago thing I’m crazy for doing it… but then again, the pizza here is definitely above average and rarely needs the extra condiments… Every once in awhile I’ll still do it- just because. 🙂
