Last night I attempted the Shred level 1 again. I felt like it was harder this time than last. Those darn squat and arm raises kill me. I think I should lower to 3 lb weights for some of the strength exercises and stay at 5lb or maybe even move up to 8 lbs for bicep curls and a couple others moves. That was the only exercise I did last night because I had to pack for Chicago. I don’t know if it’s just in my head, but I feel a little bit toned already. I know I’ve only done the Shred a couple times, but that with running like crazy has already made a change in my body. I’m LOVING it 🙂
Made some awesome grilled cheese with shredded swiss cheese and chicken noodle soup last night for dinner. YUMMMY Comfort food!
After I was packed and showered, I decided to give myself a spray tan. Nothing makes you look skinnier, healthier and more toned than a tan. I Love it 🙂 It’s almost impossible to tan myself (but my bf was outta town). Hopefully I won’t get to Chicago with an uneven tan! Looks awesome so far though.
St. Patrick’s Day Chicago – Here I come! Even though the Southside parade is shut down, I’m sure it’s still going to be a riot (who shuts down such a long running tradition by the way?!?) Here are some pictures of previous years.
Yesterday’s Log:
I know exactly what move you’re talking about- and it’s a killer! But I would keep up with the 5-lbs if I were you. It’s hard, but I think it pays off! 🙂
You’re probably right, I should just suck it up! You’re the one on level 3, so I should take your advice!!
When I do shred I have 3 sets of weights in front of me so I can see which move requires which weight, some muscles are stronger than others! If I try to generalize all the same moves with the same weights I can’t move and pick up and do it again the next day! GL!
