CAN’T.RUN.NEED.BATHROOM.NOW!

Last night my boyfriend and I decided to go out to dinner because we won’t see each other until Sunday as we are both going out of town.  We picked to go to Logan’s Roadhouse because they had a great special for 2 entrees for $14.99.  I went with the grilled chicken and it was great!  Those rolls there are amazing and will get ya in calories.  Luckily, I grabbed my handy-dandy iPhone to check calories of Logan’s food and found that just one roll had almost the same amount of calories as my whole chicken portion did.  So…needless to say, I only had one roll.

For whatever reason, Logan’s Roadhouse doesn’t list their nutritional information on their website.  I hate that! I think that if the menus aren’t going to have nutritional information, at least you should be able to find it on their website.  I did my best to track my meal by googling all the different foods.  Who knows what they really use to make the food though?!

Afterwards, It was still nice outside so I decided to take my Nike Plus and my Doberman for a run.  I don’t know if I can ever remember a run that I’ve been on that had the most PERFECT weather like last night.  I was completely comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts.  Once in a while a cool breeze would come by and it just felt amazing 🙂  Max did a good job running along with me.  It’s cute though because in the beginning he’s in front of me and by the end he’s right to the side or a little behind me.

Even though the run was great, I can’t forget to mention the fact that I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of my run SO.SO.SO.BAD!!!  I HATE that.  I seriously couldn’t hold it any more so I ran home, went to the bathroom, and then Max and I went back out to finish another half a mile.  My boyfriend couldn’t believe I sprinted in the house, went to the bathroom and ran right back outside.  haha.

Has anyone else had an experience like this where you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of your run, or something happened that you couldn’t control?

In total we ran 2.7 miles.  If the weather is anything like this for the Race For The Cure 5K that I’m doing in April, I don’t see having a problem with the race.  Even though it’s my first 5k, I think I’ll be able to handle it.

Hopefully I’ll be able to work out some tonight because the only thing I will be working out this weekend is my right arm by raising a beer to my mouth and down.  CAN’T WAIT FOR CHICAGO 🙂

It’s almost the weekend!!! Cheers!
