Red In The Face

134.6

I stayed under my calorie max last night, and my number still went up .2 lbs. I’m not worried about it though because it’s FRIDAY and nothing can upset my mood when it’s the weekend 🙂

I’m warning you now that my calorie intake on Saturday is going to be through the ROOF! We are going on a pub crawl this weekend and I deserve a fun night out after my week I dedicated to health/fitness. I’m just hoping that the drinking won’t make me eat too much unhealthy food, which always seems to come hand in hand. We’ll see I guess.

I’m still sore from Wii EA Sports Active. That’s pretty sad! I never thought a video game could get me this sore, but I guess that proves how bad of shape I’m in and how squats/lunges really do their job no matter how you do them!

It’s Friday today and I’m hoping I can work out tonight, but that’s always tough to work out on a weekend.

One thing I always wish I could do is work out in the morning. The problem is that I get REALLY red in the face. I look like a bright red tomatoe. That probably has a lot to do with the light skinned Irish in me. It’s embarrasing though. It doesn’t go away for a couple hours either!! I’m not a morning person, but some times I’d like to work out before I go into the office to get it over with…especially on mornings that I know I won’t want to exercise after work. I wish I didn’t have the red face problem after a workout, but it’s me and I gotta live with it I guess.

After work I found out we were going out for Mexican with my boyfriend’s dad. I planned on being healthy tonight but ended up chowing down on some mexican. I thought it was great but I think if I weren’t dieting, I wouldn’t have thought the food was that good. I had a lot of eating remorse after so I ran for 33 min on the treadmill. I feel a little better about dinner now. Here’s my log from today. It’s my first time this week in the RED!

My run led me to win my Nike plus challenge!

Have a great weekend! Bye for now!

  1. Hey, I heard that if you put an ice cub on the roof of your mouth, it helps with the redness. Try it and let me know 🙂 (I read this from a health magazine.
